So bad ass. I was never too fond of how their screaming sounds but I still love these guys. Metalcore sound that makes solos. You don't see that much and that's what makes them better than the rest of the metaphors bands. Solos make a huge difference.

As a Metalhead, this is one of the few Metalcore bands I like. You can tell they have influence from the early thrash bands, which I appreciate.

Fuck. Yeah. I didn't even know these guys came out with a new album but this song is incredible!! A deathgrip on yesterday is one of the albums that got me into heavier music growing up. Definitely going to catch atreyu at warped tour this year

Can anyone explain to me the meaning of the video? I enjoy it quite a lot, but it's kind of bizarre. Is it depicting their old selves giving them chance to redemption by self-sacrifice (notice how they didn't kill them, but let them kill themselves - Alex went into the sea with the brick, Brandon burned himself, Marc put the noose himself) or something like that?

+Angel “Fury” Spasoff It's simple, really! They're killing off their old selves. The entirety of this album is about the groups "rebirth", hence the five open coffins on the album cover. By killing off their old selves,  they're erasing their mistakes, they're reborn, resurrected as something bigger and better. It also displays unity. The band is united, and is dedicated to the same beliefs. As for the method of death for each band member, I believe they each chose to die in the video in the way that terrifies them most in real life. Alex is afraid of drowning, Brandon afraid of being burned alive, Travis afraid of falling to his death, Dan afraid of being buried alive (or suffocated), and Porter afraid of being hanged. This last part is purely speculation.

Not to say congregation or lead sails were bad, but with the release of this album I realize how different those two are from a "realer" Atreyu sound. Thankfully they've headed back in this direction. Deathgrip and Curse-like.
