THIS is hardcore punk! i love it so much. we need more music like this.... or at least a few. it's kinda a dying genre. i play music like this, i just need to find some other musicians and i would totally try to revive this.

As you compare this to Their enw style. It isn't different at all for The real Core listenner, I mean, Humains are scared of the difference. Yes, If they would Put some more screaming in their new Style of song, No one would Whine, because They'll never think it's too easy because it's balanced at their judgements. your opinion on the band will never change anything... Just beware of the new Atreyu. They Bite. :D

@phadedlife It's so easy, I think even you can understand this. First, Atreyu was popular with a reasonable amount of people with their music. Now, Atreyu is popular with a much larger amount of people. First, Atreyu loved playing their music. Now, Atreyu loves playing their music. Somewhere along the line, they got smarter, and you didn't, that's why there is now a gap between your state of mind, and the band's. Cheers

ohh I know for the songs that are heavier I was so happy reminded me of The Curse scream/yelling but they need to stop Brandon from singing to much, hes a drummer not lead vocals, Alex needs too keep screaming his ass off with a bit of back up singing and I'll be good with it..but ya I agree with you, didn't live up to the hype but it was better then LSPA

Atreyu are fucking awesome..there last album blew...but the said it was to prove they could do more then be a hardcore band and could be a rock band, they also said they let the bullshit producer do too much with the album..new album out in Oct, Alex said there going back to their roots and it's going to be a dark and heavy album

Not all hardcore is melodic. There is a derivative form of hardcore with more emphasis on melody, called melodic hardcore.
