Somebody said they wanted to buy the album? After witnessing their singing drummer over a decade ago, I bought this album from Alex for $5 at Koos cafe in Santa ana, CA... the raw teenage emotions made this album #1. Youtube fans have yet to get the album tracks in the right order...

I LOVE the rawness in Alex's singing but damn his screaming was pretty shit back then

His screaming has evolved so much...his singing too, though I prefer this to the singing he does on Lead Sails and Congregation tbh

they are coming back together!!

after all their sideprojects, coming together as atreyu again will be epic. there will be no focus on the lighter side by brandon, and no singing by alex. i love him but he cant sing... its gonnna be straightup atreyu style riffs, and alex screams, matched up perfectly with brandons singing and exceptional drumming. someday soon... and when that day comes... it will be grand.

Heyy Guys i Have a Song Called "Hometown revenge" by atreyu i downloaded it on limewire a few years ago around when visions came out, its amazing really it doesnt sound alot like them.. or at all really.. i did find it on youtube with a couple random videos saying it was also by them but i cant seem to find them now or any info or lyrics. also if anyone who reads this might be interested i also had a song called seven by them but i lost it years ago and have had no luck since... Any help?

@tombeals69 thats not true either, if they made every record sound the same, and combined it into a whole record it would sound like they never changed and thats not to appealing to alot of people thats why you change as you progress and get better at what you started, and have fun personally their newer record sounded a little heavier with more screaming then lead sails but its not suicide notes or the curse, but they will always be changing. this wasa excellent album for not being signed

they sound more hardcore punk then metalcore here...but i love atreyu no matter what

what are you talking about, they always had the drummer/singer Brandon..and if you listen hes singing back up in this song..it sounded different because there all in highschool during this cd

My favourite band is Atreyu. Without Alex's vocie I would never have become a vocalist myself. I LOVE this band.

But if anyone asked me what's the worst song I've EVER heard, I'd pick this. I can't believe how out of tune the chorus is. It's terrrrible lo.

Well you could start with not stating things that you don't know anything about.

Alex's voice sure was different back then, and they weren'r half as skilled from a musical point of view as they are now.
But Visions is like a diamond in the rough, I'd love to see them rework and record the songs and the two unworked ones from Fractures and release them as a bonus disc on the side of an album or something.

Well it may not be the best of Atreyu's work but i Still think it's pretty good.

mostly Metalcore. the biggest change is obviously from Lead Sails.
Atreyu doesnt really offer many different genres.

Genres are no more than definitions giving ideas what certain pieces of music sound like. And even that is critical. It's just for orientation, nothing more, it's all just a matter of taste, anyway
