What ever happened to this band this album was really fucking fantastic

This is an album that has few contemporaries. A rare and fortuitous meeting of the minds to achieve immortality. The instrument work is instantly *badass* no matter where you randomly pick that contains noise. Joey Culver is an awesome singer and a perfect fit, regardless of whatever drama (inherent to music) occurred. I am somewhat skeptical about a possible reformation that won't include Joey, but I am definitely excited to hear it regardless!
To me 47 is music that is frozen in time, and it always inspires me to remember greatness will always be available to us if we are willing to pursue it without compromise. Maybe it wasn't the original goal, but everyone involved should be really proud of what VERY few artists can achieve in their art.

probably because at the time was overshadowed by system of a down at their best. papa roach big at time and not far from korns best days. I'm sure in forgetting a few but I think it was timing.

Yeah, kind of a tool clone band IMHO, but in a good way. Everyone has their influences, and theirs is quite obvious and very well emulated.

@vbooy57 I think the Atomship and Beiber crowd would be slightly different from each other. But whatever, keep arguing. I'm sure you bitching about how much Culver sucks will change the opinions of the large amount of people that prefer him.

I'd prefer Joey Culver any day. He is a brilliant artist. Writer and all around musician. Who I proudly get to call my brother.

@seventhirtytwo If that's the only reason Then Justin Beiber is the best singer of all time. If he wasn't that good he wouldn't have hundreds of millions of views. See the problem? Beiber doesn't deserve those views. Same with Culver. Chad, Nate, and Cordell Crocket deserve those views.

@Mattgoff09 Culver is only credited with writing this song's lyrics, Derek Pardoe wrote pretty much everything else.

vbooy57 most of the time someone writes the lyrics it’s usually the singer but not always and someone writes the music that’s usually how songs are written it’s rare to have someone write a whole album by themselves but some can do it Kerry king from slayer does it all the time

Atomship Down sounds EXACTLY like Atomship. I dont know why people complain about them. The drummer doesnt make or break a band unless its a band like Metallica or Rush

they got rid of the drummer, now the band sucks, this is the only cd they ever made with the drummer
