In my later 20s I really began liking deep house, when clubbing was all the rage circa 2001. So much so, that I used to ditch my girlfriend at that time (never really liked her anyways) to go dancing alone at Club Fluid on Saturday nights in Philly just to immerse myself in the ethereal experience of letting go of stress and anxiety for the evening. Alcohol helped too, just sayin.


Thanks for putting these compilations out here. I've rediscovered why I love it so much....mesmerizing, transporting, laid-back groove music that helps reinvigorate the soul. Definitely music for a certain mood (and point of time during the week), but isn't all music based upon moods?

This is a pretty damn good set of relatively obscure deep artists. Keep doing this, there is a hard-core group of old-school deep housers who still love this...

Think about putting links to the artists sell pages so they can make cash off their tracks... that'd be a great way to build your channel with all the love and blessings from artists.

@Hyperllam4 sorry to hear that. Forgive me but could I make a suggestion? If you don't already ,start exercising. Start by walking and cycling. Join a gym sort your diet out, detox, and get disciplined. It worked for me years ago. When you get stronger mentally and physically adopt a philosophy of not giving a fuck what anybody thinks of you. Good luck with your first steps.

Damn dude, that description is kind of a bummer. Techno fans are literally the group of people in the world that will get mad at you for not only spinning vinyl on a $5000 set up in your moms basement. I know some of us aren't like that though. And btw, channels for engineering are something completely different compared to matters which concern personal taste.

I'm in love with dub techno. It's become my go-to working music. It puts me in more of a trance than any other style of electronic music. Images that come to mind range from humid jungles to frozen peaks to futuristic bleak cities. Such a good sound.

@Harrison Divecha It is really interesting the different imagery that comes to mind. I had a great experience listening to Deepchord in a very tropical environment. Mangroves, salt water etc. Since then the deepchord hiss and warmth of the sound made me think of humidity etc. Anyway, yay music :)

This is awesome! But let me clarify, 'Chill' is not a genre lol. I know a lot of youtubers put that label on it. May have seen it a million times, but that still doesnt make it correct. Ive been doing electronic music, underground stuff for 20yrs. 'Chill' is just a way to market, sadly thats more important now then actually knowing what something is. Internet lingo etc.
If you want to know the genres of this, to find more, Its Ambient, Down-tempo, some Dub techno under the term Electronica. Cheers!
