I found this song around sophmore longing for the time I'd graduate and look back at this song. Up until today i had almost forgotten about it. Looking through my story archive on instagram reminded me how much time has passed and how much I've grown from feeling trapped freshman year. Coming back to this song now having graduated hs last summer. It makes me feel nostalgic, greatful, and even euphoric for myself. Growing, changing, and experiencing whether for good or bad it all happened and i lived through it. These past years have been one hell of a rollercoaster but i know the next segment of my life will be even crazier and scarier. and honestly? Im pretty content with that.

Also listening to this so many years ago made me feel really warm and hopeful. Especially the last few lyrics thank you.

God this song breaks me, I remember before I was dating my boyfriend I was listening to this song and I just remember “cheer the fuck up up you beautiful loser” and I remember I called my “boyfriend” a beautiful loser and I remember him historically laughing and I knew that it made him feel better about him self and now just hearing this song makes me sort of sad remembering our relationship all the way back then, now we aren’t together anymore and god I’m so sad, I know this was stupid but I thought I’d share
