Atlanta Rhythm Section - Will I Live On? Lyrics

Will I qualify, will I make the grade?
Will my soul be heaven bound, when my body's laid down?
Will I rest easy in the sweet by and by?
Will I live on when I die?

Lord I've tried you know I've done my best
And through life's mighty trials somehow I've passed the test
Will I rest easy in that sweet by and by?
Oh Lord, will I live on when I die?

I wanna know, when I find myself at the end of life's line
They'll be nothing left Lord, for this soul of mine
Will I rest easy yeah yeah, in that sweet by and by?
Oh Lord, will I live on when I die?

Yes, will I rest easy, yeah, in the sweet by and by?
Oh Lord, will I live on when I die...

The family chose three songs to play at Ronnie's funeral.  Will I Live On, Normal Love, and The War is over.  It was hard to choose but these 3 seemed to be the most touching.  RIP Brother You live on and are missed deeply.

Yes, this was played at Ronnie Hammond's funeral. I fought the battle of tears, but tears won when this song came over the speakers. How potent & perfect it was.
