After John Wetton died a lot of stuff has been popping up on the internet, like the Days Like These Video that never aired. The raw orchestra music for this song is out there. There are a lot more horns in but it got put in the background. The orchestra part is more powerful when you hear it outside the song.

Astra was my favorite of Asia,s albums. They were a phenomenal band in my opinion and badly underrated.

Astra was the lowest rated album in their history, and it's a lie! People were stunned and jealous. They don't like to feel. Their music takes you to a higher state of self. Haters have too much anger to accept this much depth. Yet, when I hear an Asia hater play Boston, Journey, Styx, or any such bands, I call them out! Asia for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees...please spread the word. Please help John and the boys get recognized for their hard work. They were hurt by the false reviews. But their fans loved this album as much as their others!!! Phenomenal!

Hear, hear! This wondrous, lush symphonic music! Utter goosebumps. I just don't know how anyone, at least anyone with an ear for serious music cannot like this.

A bunch of demos/tracks were stolen and posted on the net.  One was the London Orchestra portion of this song.  The horn sections gets completely buried in the mix.  It is a very amazing and powerful finale to the song.

what a song, Astra should've done better than it did

It was easily the most "progressive" album they'd done to date. The problem was that the first two albums had alienated a lot of the prog rock fans, and the Astra sound didn't conform to what their fan base expected. I'll readily admit that at the time I was disappointed in this album, although over the years I've grown to like it far more than the debut and...well, this & Alpha are close. Of course, I've also grown in a lot of other ways since then, so there you are.
