I met someone in 2015. I tried to look him up in facebook and since then, it has become my habit to stalk his profile almost everyday. We see each other often but he never knew me, not even my name. I never get the chance to talk to him... like ever. I started to like him when I saw him wearing a band shirt and realize how much we share the same music interests. We're like an asymptote, we get closer and closer but we never reach each other. I doubt he even cares about my existence. I never stopped liking him, I even got used to the feeling of watching him from a distance, always dreaming he'll one day notice me. Until just this year, he passed away. I looked up this song when I saw one screenshot he had in facebook where he wrote the part of this song where it says "And you'll find somebody new who's worth your time
. Someone whose words sound sweeter than mine. I'll hope to mend, trying my best just to get by." Now as I listen to this, I'm not crying anymore but there's only one question in my mind: "What hurts more?
Is it remembering or forgetting?" 'cause I really want to stop the pain, and by that it means forgetting him and moving on. On the other hand, it would kill me not to remember him enough. He was a really good person, I like remembering him even if it's killing me. I don't want his memories to totally fade away.

Ah... this song is absolutely wonderful.

To be quite honest here, I think that “Okay” is a good album. I just don’t think it tops Never Happy, Ever After. It’s MUCH like Architects with “All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us”, a few fantastic tracks but the rest of them are either just fine or mediocre as shit. Nothing bad though, I like more songs off this record than off Architects’ 2016 release.

Too bad they both put out COMPLETELY mediocre duds THIS year!

I don’t see how The Great Depression is a concept album. It’s as much of a concept album as Emmure’s Look At Yourself....which it isn’t at all. From what I heard, it’s an emocore album with traces of pop punk every now and again. If the lyrics are what makes it a concept, then I don’t really care. As far as I’m concerned, it’s the MUSIC that makes an album good not the lyrics. Not to mention that if it WAS supposed to be a concept album, it failed miserably due to the fact that many people GREATLY dislike the album.

As far as Okay is concerned, I listened to “Hey Rachel” and every other track on the album. It’s just another song about relationships (whether it be friendships or something more is irrelevant) so bringing it up is pointless and doesn’t make much sense. And I like the song, that’s how I know for a fact that I’m right.

Man, I remember listening to this song when it dropped in January, and not really thinking much of it. It was really good, and kind of sad, but I wasn't feeling it at the time. Now fast forward, me and my girlfriend parted ways and I came back to the song, and it really touched me and hit me so hard. I swear everything Patty was saying is what I felt, and cried. She's moved on now, and I'm still remembering.
