Art Garfunkel - I've Grown Accustomed To Her Face Lyrics
I've grown accustomed to her face,
She almost makes the day begin
I've grown accustomed to the tune
She whistles night an' noon
Her ups, her downs
Are second nature to me now
Like breathing out and breathing in
I was serenely independent
And content, before we met
Surely I could always be that way again, and yet,
I've grown accustomed to her looks
Accustomed to her voice
Accustomed to her face!

Me too...I've listened to so much of his work lately... His voice is amazingly, uniquely, angelic. Have you heard his 2002 "everything waits to be noticed" album? It is seriously amazing. He actually has some songs that he wrote himself. I'm like, "SERIOUSLY art? Why have you been holding out on us?"
@TheScaletIbisNW I just love that album! Every song is wonderful. The songs that he was involved with the writing are as good as any. I love the song "How Did You Know"...gives me chills. Thanks Again!

isn't it though? So lovely. One of the reasons part of me is torn on whether I want him to get back together with Paul or not. I want him to produce another album. He has such a give with singing and writing. I hope he knows he is even more than a singer. I get the hunch it was way out of his comfort zone to dabble in song writing.
my 1st time to hear this & i love it. always appreciate the songs of art & paul. thanks for posting this lovely song.
I love their music too. Thank you so much for listening to this one.
