Hey, I was made to listen to Joan I believe it was around 78. As in 1978. Maybe later, it does not matter I'm just listening to this song again. Well my wife was the one who made me listen when we had to drive to the river run back than. I must say I got a few more people to buy the tape. No it was vinyl I taped it. When my wife passed, i was throwing g those dam reader mags out. She pick the thing up ever week , I never saw her open it. Any way it open to a concert was going to be at 4 and b, down town. I went. Ok check this out, me over 6'3" and 220 balling my froggen eyes out, I mean buckets, he the little guy with the flash light wanted to know if he could do something. Now what would he do, but it was nice now don't get me wrong him not like that, but all the girls at that show, well I never did figure it out, they were not like the ones I knew.

@SylvanaForrester Aye Glaswegian as it happens. We have our own language in Scotland. I have visited Aberdeen on holiday, lovely people, beautiful scenery, golf courses and beaches. And we are just living through the worst summer for 22 years. You should be glad your mum ended up in the US, its a lot warmer than Scotland.

She's such a tremendous writer as well as singer. Bought "Joan Armatrading" album in 1976 and thought it was one of the most original sounding album I had ever heard. Truly one of the most underrated artists ever.
