I remember my friend got this LP in 1975 when we were 13. We both played guitar and could work out most songs but spent about 6 months trying to figure out how Joan played this. We never did - and I don’t know if anyone else did either. I’ve never heard anyone else cover it. Joan Armatrading is one of the greatest writers of music and lyrics Britain has ever had. She’s also an outstanding performer and a lovely lady. We love you Joan

It's a mystery how the album this track is the opener for is not more well-known. I love the acoustic guitar playing on this track. A truly great artist
