Arlo Guthrie - Anytime Lyrics
Anytime you're feelin' lonely
Anytime you're feelin' blue
Anytime you feel downhearted
That will prove your love for me is true
That's the time I'll be thinkin' of you
So anytime you say you want me back again
That's the time I'll come runnin' back to you
Anytime you're feelin' lonely
Anytime you're feelin' blue
Anytime you feel downhearted
That will prove your love for me is true
Anytime you're thinkin' about me
So anytime you say you want me back again
That's the time I'll be comin' back to you

THIS IS ONE OF MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE SONGS!!! I bought this album right after it was released. I was playing this on my guitar and I realized that my mom or dad was singing along with it. I had NEVER even heard of this song, AND my parents were singing along with it. I asked them HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS SONG? And they told me that ANYTIME was OLDER than I was, and that Eddy Arnold had done it in the late '40s or early '50s! It's an interesting/AWESOME/catchy song! If you play the guitar, it is a VERY TRICKY song to play, because the chords to it go EVERYWHERE!
AND THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS SONG!!!!!!!
Arlo is a national treasure.
+Cary Patterson Agreed. I wonder if he feels the weight of history?
