I have this album, I was 17 years old when it came out . This was one of my favorites but everything on the album was the bomb. Aretha Franklin was definitely the Queen and no one can ever replace THE QUEEN OF SOUL, it's been 52 years and I've heard them all. LONG LIVE THE MUSIC OF THE QUEEN OF SOUL. RIP Aretha Franklin.

Well stupid me, I did not know there was a vocal to this song. Just came here from Little Willie John bio and they played this song in background and I wanted to hear Soul Serenade. low and behold Sister Re is singing it. There you go. Never to old I guess. Love her version and will look for others (they can't top her though).

I CAN REMEMBER BACK IN THE EARLY 60's ON SATURDAY WHEN WHEN SHE WAS WASHING OUR CHOTHES IT WENT DOWN WITH ARETHA. THAT WHY I LOVE ARETHA. MY DAUGHTER LOVE ARETHA AND HER DAUGHTER LOVE ARETHA.
