Architects - Buried At Sea Lyrics
Send my regards to you and yours
I'm not coming back for you
And I'll hold onto the last memory of you
I'll hold onto you and bury you at sea
How can you watch me split in two?
Send my regards to you and yours
And no hope will come from this
So turn around and run
How can you smile when you see me crumbling?
And we all stood back and watched the waves crash down on you
Send my regards to you and yours
And there's no hope for someone as cold as you
You made me sink into the coldest of waves
I watch you sink into lies that you created

They're a uk band and half the songs are blocked in the uk. Right...
stupid Americans taking our bands
YouTube sucks
i sending LOVE to this band ^^
3:43 ...The final scene looks like beginning of Bioshock Infinite lol. The sea, the key and the lighthouse...even the name of this song associates with DLC "Burial at the Sea"! Is Ken Levine a fan of Architects?:))
+Nicholas Black no maybe you should take a trip to brighton
sen my regards to you and yours!!!!
HOW CAN YOU SMILE WHEN YOU SEE ME CRUMBLING
Still listen to this album and it still gets me pumped
the energy of this song!
The production is so dope..
They never play again from Nightmares or Ruin anymore. Glad I got to see them live during the Ruin album cycle
Nothing at all? Damn that sucks, also glad I saw them a few times 'back in the old days'
@Matthias Deckx @Simon Hook you guys are so lucky !
dear god Sam's vocals have changed. good to see them where they are now, though. love this song.
katthecreator I’m not sure if this is sarcasm, but this is Matt Johnson, Sam Carter replaced him in 2007
This is Sam, i think Matt only did nightmares
ShaunMS this is Sam
@SMSIX66 lol at your comment
I know their Tech Metal days are behind them, but I would still love to hear them play this live. Ruin is arguably their best album to date, and it's a shame they don't play anything from it these days. I would also love to hear something from Nightmares live, but there is no chance that material will ever be played again.
I totally agree with that. And would love to see them playing more of the older stuff.
I actually don't understand why their newest album received THAT many positive reactions while the same people who love the new album don't listen to Architect's older stuff. Hm. Their live performance last week was amazing anyway.
I completely agree with you that they should revive the old stuff, but the new stuff's just as mathy and techy...
@Matt G I love how they have mixed together all their styles from over the years into one amazing sound in Lost Forever // Lost Together. It's an album that perfectly demonstrates all their strengths and talents.
Absotively, my friend. It's got to be one of my favourite albums at the moment. It's got everything
I would absolutely love to hear something from Nightmares live, ruin too but yeah it's not happening they traded in mathcore riffs and Dissonance for generic breakdowns and power chords, but really something like always would be amazing or this song buried at sea is the first one I heard and it blew my mind
for me ruin is their best album, daybreaker and hollow crown are pretty good though. here and now with an exception of 2 or 3 songs it's mostly crap
the old stuff is good, hollow crown is epic, the here and now is pretty good, Daybreaker is the best music they have written thus far. maybe not the sound everyone wants from them, but its just really well done.
Daybreaker's not that bad..but hollow crown's my favourite\m/
I think he means missing the sound of the old architects...meaning anything new will be different...
i totally agree with you
architects are kind of like bmth in the sense that are more lyric heavy
which i like as it adds more meaning
i liked ruin and hallow crown but the here and now was only ok and daybreaker i didnt really listen to. this is probly their best song ever.
they are still fucking awesome dude!
forgot how awesome these guys use to be
And then there's something called Daybreaker
Fucking love this song so much
this was their best album and one of my all time favourite metal albums
This gives me a strong Gojira vibe... Like it!
The part at 1:48 is identical to Gojiras 'Global Warming'
whats in the lighthouse?!?!
The beauty with Architects is that none of their albums sound alike!
Well...
5 years later hahaha
actually konkachila & celtic cross, im the guy who accidentally said I was transgender at evolve even though im straight, went into the k-hole while on acid and shrooms and lorazepams, fuck you
tzolkin sept 7 1995

itzamna kauil
Axis mundi
Just made an art piece for school native star lol fuck all racists
"Sam sings now. Ugh." ...Seriously people?
Check out my cover of this :)
I soo wish Architects were still like this
The guy in the coffin looks like a weird cross between Chris Kamara and Marcus Briggstock
I completely agree with you on that. not once did i say anything to contradict that. what was your point?
Bands evolve. Bands change. I don't know a single band who still sound like their first ever record. If a band played the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over (see where this is going?) and over and over and over and over again, EVERYONE would be bored - the band-members and the audience alike. Bands change. People change. People need to stop whining about it because, as I said before, their old stuff is still here.
you completely missed my point (point, not argument. I'm not trying to argue) when you say you miss a person, you aren't missing being able to remember the old times, you miss them because you want new memories. he obviously doesn't miss their old songs, he misses them making songs like their old ones, therefore he obviously just means he wants them to make new songs like their old ones
Sorry, but that's a completely illogical argument. Architects are still alive and kicking, not dead, so that analogy does not work. They still play their old songs at live performances, and the tracks are still out there on CD and the Web, so you can still listen to them.
that's telling someone they aren't allowed to miss a dead relative if they have pictures of them....
Was going to complain about video quality, but it was architects so I didn't.
La banda sonora de mi vida actualmente...
excellent bass work. im not crazy about the vocals but theyre not terrible
I never said I didn't like the direction the band was going in, I mean I have the Daybreaker cover as my avatar. I honestly don't know what you're trying to get at.
I know exactly what you meant. I was just saying that it's music, and music is ever changing. We may not like the direction a band takes with their music, but we can always listen to the stuff we do like whenever we want.
I mean them playing in this style.
I like how you tried to twist that around into your own thing though, haha.
Yet your image is from daybreaker?
2:42 *.*
What makes you say that? Ruin is surely a sick album, but I think none of their albums are near as good as Hollow Crown. So much energy and a perfect blend of clean / unclean vocals. It's probably my favorite album of all time.
haha sorry, everyime i said "Nightmares", i meant "Ruin"
my 2 favourite albums by these guys (well, the only 2 i listen to) is nightmares and their latest one, i feel like nightmares has been over shadowed by the 3 albums after it :( do they ever still play songs off this album live?
first, It's not like all their videos are about a slender dude walking about.
second, this video is pretty old so you're kinda far behind..
ah, finally a musical video that's NOT about a well dressed man walking across random locations...
Hardcore math. Schoolboys biggest nightmares.
Yeah! This is a great song! ;) i have to learn it!!!!
we used to cover this song with my older band. it's not that hard, and it's fun to play
1:17 Wtf is that ???
Dude I've searched up many bands that I've never heard of before, decided I really didn't like their music and....just LEFT...heck I've even defended bands I didn't like :P Its completely unnecessary and Architects don't even sound like this anymore :P
STFU bitch
I so wish they wanted to sound like this again. Ruin is their best album for me.
Exactly what I wanted you to say, because you didn't say you wished they still did this kind of music did you? you said you wished they were still good, implying that they are no longer good, when in fact they are good, they have never not been good it just depends on you music taste.
I could kiss you.
<3 this band
Anyone from the UK know where the statue at 1:32 is located at? Just curious.
I actually heard about these guys and decided to check em out and I thought they sucked dick
Then don't listen to them? it is as simple as that, the only reason anyone would look up a band they didn't like would be because they're an idiot who enjoys pointless arguments. And you were just giving your opinion huh? Well whats wrong with AA? its crappy electronic autotuned shit, thats my opinion but I don't go posting it on their videos because no one needs to hear my crappy opinion apart from myself and its a pointless waste of time that I could be spending listening to music I like.
Your comment confuses me. Why would you want them to go back to being just good when they are now awesome?
Brother band of the Arusha Accord
I personally dislike metalcore in general but JESUS FUCKING COW This song is so catchy, challenging and non-stop chaos I dig it
"Suck my rectuuuusssss"
"Miss" it? It's still there. It's never going to go -- you'll always be able to listen to it. What is there to miss?
Dang, really going to miss the old Architects.
Lol whats wrong with AA and plus I commented because I was giving my opinion
then why even bother commenting? you like asking Alexandria..oh the misery..
Lol you all shut down my criticism XD I'm pretty sure these guys could give two shits about what I think of them!
Sick!
Oh and by the way check my bands latest lyric vid :) /watch?v=dHXYryGJJAM
Ruin is still by far my favourite album by Architects, and it always will be.
"Suck my rectuuuuum"
No, you wish architetcs was still mathcore
these guys sound like skith
what? not even close to similar bands why were they even brought up?
live long in your own sacred world :)
....are you stupid? the song was released before osamas death .. -.-
okay....
