Don't really understand the hate for their new album, I think it sounds amazing. Well obviously not all songs. Some were put in to keep the theme of the album like infinite content. The theme of their album is companies and products.

Definately wasnt meant to imply that I hated the new album. In fact, now that I've had a bit of time away from it I miss it. Its going to accompany me on my trip to Albury this morning.

I always got sort of an early U2-ish vibe from this song. Amazing album, pretty major part of my life, especially back around when it first came out.

Tuan Jim and the riff at the end part just had a new wave the cure vibe to it listen to the guitar parts

haha, you're welcome! 9/4 is in fact a thing. If you count to 9 from the first beat of the verse, with the snare drum hitting on 2,4,6,8, it works out even. Still you could of course also say it's 4/4 and 5/4 alternating.
