This song is very good. Not only in it's lyrics. I mean notes and tones and structure, etc.

Arcade Fire makes their music in a way that is all put together, every instrument, note from every instrument, tone from the singers, and lyrics. They are the only band like themselves.

Two of my favorite songs from this album, granted the entire album has its own sound. Still amazing I'm excited for their newest album apparently they finished recording with more tracks than expected. People hate on I give you power because of how minimalistic the track is but the message is quite clear.I believe the album will be building up to that song maybe the whole album will give humanity the message they deserve.

the mashup of these songs is brilliant. Here's a little thing within the music industry. Arcade Fire is here making songs that are good, not just catchy. These two songs are probably my favorite in the album. I love Flashbulb Eyes, We Exist, Joan of Arc, Normal person, both Here Comes the Night Time, Porno is great as well along with afterlife. Im not a fan of the opener or closer. But this album speaks volumes to me, their creativity and going beyond the comfort zone is awesome, and that's what makes this album so well made. Oh, and You Already Know is good too. And the chord progressions are really advanced in this. Kudos to you Arcade Fire, bring a concert to New Jersey, I want to see you live!!

cause it's the newest. When The Suburbs came out, it was good, but Funeral was still their best (still is, IMO). When their next album is about to come out, everybody will finally say so. Plus, all of their albums are the best.

I told my mythology teacher about this song and Hey Orpheus in my final paper, and I swear there was a cum stain on it when I got it back.

My Greek Myth Professor played this song during lecture and that's when I flew into the moon!

Best thing about Arcade Fire is that their albuns are meant to be listened as a whole, not individual tracks. It's like listening to an amazing melodic history. And Reflektor happens to be my favourite one. What a great job.

personally my favorite is the suburbs but yeah youre totally right, they make albums not singles. a craft that is lost in a lot of modern musicians. this album is all about reflections and to urge the listener to contemplate his own life

What is the relation of those two persons to the lyrics?

Orpheus and Eurydice were two lovers. Eurydice died but came back to life under condition, if Orpheus looked at her, she would disappear. The "Awful Sound" describe is the silence, because he never knows what's happening to Eurydice while he's not looking. I don't know if that helped...

My goodness. I cried the first time I listened to Eurydice and Orpheus. It was unexpected (after the roughest first disc). Such a perfect pair. Each song is essential to the other. 
Thanks for uploading them together, as I think they're meant to be heard.

first half is disjointed in a jointed kinda way musically whilst the second half is jointed in a disjointed kinda way musically and lyrically. but yes the second half is superior.
