Arcade Fire - Apocrypha Lyrics

I said I wanna be born
Born again
But not right now

Please don't take me there
But God said,
Son, it's time to go
But when you'll return
I don't know just yet

But even stars they die when they get old
The precious ones that we used to hold
So if you gonna shoot you better hit your mark
Send that arrow,
Sent it through my heart
My heart

You said,
This time, I won't get turned away
This time, I won't get turned away
This time, I won't get turned away

You said

Well, Joan of Arc
I walk in the dark
She said,
I've seen how the world ends
First they love you
Then they kill you
Then they'll love you again, and again
Again

She said,
This time, I won't get turned away
This time, I won't get turned away
This time, I won't get turned away
[Repeat]

But Jesus Christ
What did you do
To deserve what they done to you?
[Repeat]

We're coming downtown
See what we got
We got the right
[Repeat]

We know something ain't right
We know something ain't right

I said
Going downtown
See what we got
We got the right

We got the right

who can PLEASE tell me, where I can download this in good qualitiy?? non-available on amazon or iTunes.... HELP

    Arcin

    i mean it's on spotify

    Yves Winke

    it isn't

    Arcin

i mean it is, deluxe edition

    Yves Winke

I just checked again, with the Arcade Fire page only referring to the regular album. searching for Reflektor deluxe directly showed me no direct result, but the tracks from the album were labelled with deluxe. redirecting to the album from there, the deluxe version apparently exists on spotify, but had none of the bonus songs in it. maybe it's a country copyright thing, might want to check from my pc

    Arcin

huh, i see the album simply on the arcade fire page, not sure why it's different,. maybe it's like a country thing or you don't get it unless you have spotify premium

Accidently purchased this tape thinking this was the original album but I don't regret buying it still

  4. DestructableMe

pretty damn good and unique for a AF song

    Arcin

    isn't that every arcade song?

  5. L Kelly

This is fucking awesome! Slight departure in sound but a somewhat stripped down standard blues track. I could definetely abuse hard drugs to this song.

What is the beginning vocal footage from? Sounds like footage from an early rock and roll show or Elvis concert from way back in the southern U.S somewhere. Anyone know by any chance? Song kicks ass. Love this and 'Get Right'

    William Smythe

    Jude Taylor
