Anthrax - What Doesn't Die Lyrics
First in last out overthrown
It's been picked clean to the bone
And so hard to remember things
Like when we used to kill our kings
Crusading for hypocrisy
Crumbling under its own weight
Apologies if you relate
'cause
You cannot kill
What doesn't die
Live up to my promise
My full potential realized
Death lives right inside your pocket
Take him out and have a laugh
Go and piss your life away
And up above there's no one home
Why don't you answer your phone?
Reminding me to learn that poem
First in last out overthrown
Because
A stream of consciousness flows into a river of blood
Stem this tide of violence
as it rises like a flood

Anthrax What Doesn't Die Comments
It would be cool to hear them play this with Joey
Yo soy fan de Joey pero admito que a Bush le quedó buena esta canción
This is how it should have been... and remained... John Bush is insane. My two cents.
Who is the singer in this one?
The greatest part of the John Bush Anthrax era; I love Joey Belladonna Anthrax too. It's the only instance in music that I like different lead singers equally - Black Sabbath with Ozzy is the best (I did not like Dio with them), Van Halen with Dave all the way (Hagar sucked hard), and Bon Scott AC/DC is way superior.
The perfect zombie song 🧟♀️ 🧟♂️
Who’s the guy on lead guitar
Rob Caggiano (sp?). Very underrated soloist.
ля нихуя Иосиф Пригожин навалил
Death is The Beginning compilation lead me to this trax, who else agrees.
arrecho bush lml
man this shit sounds like a Disturbed song, what a fucking shit, and everybody seems to like it, this is why "metal" sucks these days, I'm so glad joey came back to end this bullshit, if I wanted to hear 2000's gay music I would listen to Disturbed, nickelcrap or slipknot
What a comeback
2:19 totally sounds like slayer.
...you can spit on PHILOSOPHY, she will-still BE- a mother to all of men-knowledge....
What a track, it just makes me bang my head so hard, a classic metal track!
The best anthrax!
john bush nailed it.. idk why they change it again to belladona
Both the video and music is awesome
the best Anthrax ever in this Album W.C.F.Y.A(this Album is the best my taste of thrash-metal old bands).Whith all respect for joy Belladonna but John bush is the best singer i have ever heard. Hear Nobody knows, thinking about an end, WCFYA, safe home, etc beside inside out.
This isn't Anthrax and the song is bad in my opinion. The real Anthtax is with Belladona and the debute album of course.
Anthrax were so much better with Bush.
no wtf whats wrong whit you
@Scarchy Tv its his opinion asswipe not everyone thinks the same thing you do mr self centered
The Sound of White Noise is really the only good Bushthrax album. After that, I think his vocals weren't that impressive, or the songwriting wasn't on par, or maybe both.
Scott, Charlie, Frank!!! I love both Joey and John as vocalists. This band at its core is what make them so damn good!
The best Anthrax's album
This is shit , not Anthrax . Thank God , Joey is Back , Anthrax is back to playing real metal .
Ya well belladonna had great albums with anthrax and fir all kings rule to. Bush just rules with anyone armoured saint or anthrax so they got two awesome singers to look back on one day and say ya we ruled
1:44 ziggy
Anthrax has always been and will always be awesome.
This had 666k views when I got here. My bad, everybody.
I'm in the mosh pit behind this gay band.
Best video best trash tune ever , you just can't make music this good anymore new metal sucks
ok.......
I remember watching this on fuse back in day
man i miss the john bush era
Belladona forever!
0:36 "Push it ass-down on the flo'!" YES! Watch out for the rug burn :-)
This looks exactly like madhouse video. If you don't believe me check out madhouse by anthrax
john motherfucking bush! (drop of mic)
ah,Cool
I like this album better than the new reunion stuff.
El Rey De Transporte cant like this comment enough
new reunion stuff?
Adam Sambol 2 latest albums
@El Rey De Transporte oh the Worship Music and For All Kings? For me, all albums from Anthrax are good, better say awesome. Sure, there are some that I like more than the other, but for me it is "if it is heavy or it has at least a bit metal in it, I love it, don't matter what it is or what it is about"
Baff Fan a Muerte de J.Bush...........les recomiendo escuchar Armored Saint sobre todo (Revelation2000)
"You cannot kill what doesn't die"
Deep, man
Anthrax!u r still fast !u r still within big 4
always liked John Bush as singer + he plays great guiter , but im huge armored saint fan , bin Anthrax too since the first signer from fist full metal
I didn't know joe rogan was in anthrax.
slap yerself..
YOU, CANNOT KILL, WHAT D—hey, you ever tried DMT? Crazy shit, man!
Omg 😂
62 people cannot kill what doesn't die
William Borzato ba dum-tis
It's weird hearing a song like this without joey
Some one below commented he sounds like drowning pool HAHAHA OMFG hahaha they were around before drowning pool were twinkled in their daddies eyes, child. Lol
Nuke, why would you up an official in 240? ... The fuck?
d3thron3d finally, a person commenting on the quality. Ik it's shit
Sounds so different without Joey
I've not heard Joey's version of this
if it's anything like his live renditions of only you don't want to
Mega ducK Joey can's sing John's songs. He hasn't the range or the power. I think he'd drop dead if he tried belting out Inside Out. He totally ruined Only when he tried that.
Привет Сибирским Язвам из Сибири. Крутая песня! Как круто ее сыграли. Суперрррр!!!!!! :)
здорова, земляк! я из Новосиба!)
ооо русские)
You can not kill what doesn't die this song is so badass
That drummer looks like frank Mir young version in UFC hahaha
Bobby Bernard that drummer would be Charlie Benante
61 Fucking Turds didn't like this...
My Favorite Track Off Of We've Come For You All! :)
What album is this one on? I'm just starting to get into them
this one is from "we've come for you all"
If you like this try White Noise and Stomp 442. Killer albums!
Буш действительно крутой вокалист. Anthrax с Белладонной попса какая-то.
не попса а айрон мэйден)
groove metal =) JOHN BUSH IS THE BEST OF ALL TIME
Muy bueno!!!!
this vocalist FUCKING sucks compared too joey
@Jeff Maher Oh. I am retarded. I was meaning to say that to towliepuffr, not you. At any rate, John Bush has the best voice for metal, period.
Wasn't john bush a choice for the early Metallica days?
As a singer for them?
I prefer john but I like them both. Great band.
Aidan Demaria yes, when james broke his wrist twice skateboarding if i ain't wrong. but john didn't accept.
Este no es el anthrax que yo conoci....
@Negas Neitor no es el mismo q con joey pero sigue siendo heavy y bueno, almenos q seas de esos tipos q dicen q lo unico bueno es el thrash -.-
this actually is a very good thrash song
Perfect for Halloween
sounds a lot like drowning pool. out
a double kick that actually assaults your senses and pummels you into submission..........
@hitskin666 This song is really tired to play in drums idk why, but it's really funny to play it.
@AnnihilAnthrax you just have to get the double bass part down, and the rest of the song just kind of seems to flow from it
@HockeyDrums It's not that easy, it needs a lot of stamina, it's like playing Gung-Ho.
hitskin666 Fuck yeah it does,I was wondering if anyone out there loved it like I did Charlie is one kickass drummer
Still awesome after years \m/
M...oO7
John Bush setting fire to a zombie at the end. I don't know what that's funny to me... but it is.
more Groove than Thrash i'd say
rezinous I dunno. I can't see it. That's just my opinion tho
Yes ,I definitely think John Bush is the better vocalist! I prefer his voice , his range , his style and of course his lyrics! Sorry Anthrax but drafting Belladonna back into the fold was a mistake alas.
Asher Locketz agree 110%!!!!!
Volume 8 and Stomp 442 are the most underrated albums of all time.
His lyrics... "you cannot kill what doesn't die". Ohhh yess much story, very poet
Asher Locketz it wasnt but i prefer john
i'm fucking old
cool/daedly
As far as the whole singer argument with this band, here's my take. The Belladonna albums were really cool and he was great for them. But I was super pissed when they kicked John Bush out. This is their best album and I really, really wanted to see what their follow up would've been. These are the perfect songs for Bush to sing, Joey would've done things different and I don't think it would work as well. I'm as 80s as they come, but this destroys anything they've done before or since.
then wish it happy birthday, I'm pretty sure that bass could blow out some candles!
I'm a Thrash-guy and therefore prefer the original Thrax-Up but this is probably the Thraxes best song ever! crunchy+heavy+speedy - everything i liked about Anthrax in the first place!
hate to tell you kid, Joey Belladonna has always been The Voice of Anthrax, before and after the bush days.
I'm glad to help spread the music! I'll playlist whatever you guys have available :)
Haha, time flies!.. Sometimes hard to believe most of the time! Thanks for playlisting so much awesome Thrash! It's cool seeing some Nuclear Blast bands included in the mix! Feel free to add any videos from our YouTube channel :)
Is there any way you guys could add this entire album to Amazon's digital music library for purchase? It's the one Anthrax album that doesn't exist there and I happen to love this track as well as others on this record.
Jesus Christ, where does the time go?! I remember '03 like it was yesterday...
that is so kickass!!!!!
you just plain suck, Anthrax are amazing
Fake Disturbed
0:10 its brian posehn looool
Salutations! As i ascribe 2,
Bloody good show then
: )
I think this easily goes as the most underrated album Anthrax ever put out. Who has Roger Daltrey, Anthony Martini from E-Town Concrete AND Dimebag on the same record?
That's a matter of opinion.
I like the band period no matter who is in front, Both have great songs Both have songs that SUCK ASS
Joey has better voice it's important
Dunno. Bush=smart lyrics/better songs. Joey=Comic books/silly music (for the most part). Blame Scott, Charlie, whoever. JOHN IS DA MAN!
Scott and Charlie make that decision. Bush/Belledonna write lyrics, maybe. If people have an issue with Bush-thrax, they need to take it up with the the main two songwriters.
Belladona make Anthrax more thrash.
Bush make Anthrax more groove.
The End.
Władysław Jagiełło and they are both great and different eras
lol, that might be the most stupid opinion i've ever seen.
Sooooo..what exactly is wrong with punk music?
As much as I love Anthrax, they do way too many covers. Look at there live setlists.. theres like 5 covers.
Keep It In The Family
Brian Posehn is one of the zombies lol
Yeah, a lot of people forget or dont realize that Anthrax is one of the Big Four that made metal what it is today. Slayer, Anthrax, Metallica, and Megadeth.....no matter what sub genre of metal music or from whatever era, Every metal head alive likes at least one of those bands.
I agree.
I'm sorry, I love old Anthrax, but Bush is far better of a singer. I know half wont agree with me. The new stuff with Joey, I just aint feeling it. It is like they went a few steps back.
The drumming in this song, is so badass! :)
