Anthrax - No Time This Time Lyrics
No time for the complexities of conversation
No time smiles, no time for knowing
No time for the intricacies of explanation
No time for sharing, even less for showing
I'd slow the whole world down
I'd bring it to it's knees
I'd stop it spinning round
But as it is
I'm climbing up an endless wall
No time at all
No time this time
No time at all
No time this time
No time for a quick kiss at the railway station
No time for a suitcase, sandwich and a morning paper
Only time for time tables, calls and transportation
No time to think no time to dare
If I could
I'd slow the whole world down
I'd bring it to it's knees
I'd stop it spinning round
But as it is
I'm climbing up an endless wall
No time at all
No time this time
No time at all
No time this time
If I could
I'd slow the whole world down
I'd bring it to it's knees
I'd stop it spinning round
But as it is
I'm climbing up an endless wall
No time at all
No time this time

What's the name of this killer vocal effect please?
I spent my youth listening to it.
jajajajaja
jajajajajajajajajaja
nice copy huh ?
It's not Sting singing. The effect you hear is there because it's on the original version by The Police. Go listen to The Police version. You'll hear the difference. I admit that it's close, but it's not Sting. Before I saw what year it was released (1996), I would've guessed it was Joey Belladonna on vocals. But I don't think he was in the band in '96. I could see Frank Bello doing this. The early stuff by The Police had some bonafide punk in it.
Yeah Bush was definitely in the band at this time and you can tell that's him doing the background vocals
The effect on the vocals sounds just like the one The Police used. I think it's great they covered this tune! It's definitely one of my favorite songs by The Police.
Frankie Bello on vocals!!!!!!!!!!!!
no thats john
This totally sounds like Sting singing. Bush seems to do the backing vocals.
This is Frankie Bello! But they put some effect on the vocals.
This is not Frankie at all. This has got to be Sting, seriously filtered though. cool song.
Frank Bello sings it, I got that ep. Frank also sings another ones.
Anthrax doing Police covers -- yeah! Love it.
@faithnomorefan I believe Frank is singing on this one. It sounds somehow as him
It sounds like Sting, but seriously filtered.
I don't think the band would release a Joey song as a b-side to a Bush era single. Maybe they let Frank Bello sing one ?
