As someone who spent their formative years in an ny suburb just outside the city, this song just really *hits deep* with me. The deciduous trees in fall, falling asleep knowing you have a snow day tomorrow as you hear the plows scrape the pavement outside for snow, apartment living...these things of course aren’t specific to ny but they just . And hearing this song makes me miss it all the more 💖 I just remember dying to leave but now I’m dying to go back
