Man they just dont sound liked they used to. Granted yes Jeff's much older now and the lineups changed a bit, but the past few albums/songs have been a miss for me.
I'm bias a bit though, nothing recently has captured me like how Alice in Hell, Never, Never Land or King of the Kill did.

The tracks I've heard from this record are some of the best I've heard in a long time from these guys. I grew up with Annihilator (got into em in high school with Alice In Hell) and that old vibe I've been missing from them is back.

I can smell some Van Halen influences on this one (especially the lead parts, but on the riffing as well)... and of course, there's some "Stonewall" vibe throughout the song. Jeff Waters is incredibly gifted but he does have a tendency to auto plagiarism (is that a psycho symptom ?!?!). Cool tune, anyway :-)

The only thing I miss in new Annihilator is bit of unexpected parts and bit progish phrases from Never Neverland period during the song and not plain heavy/thrash. Everything else is just pure awesomeness. \m/

Well, it's - again - a modern rehash of early material with an injection of Jeff's groove phase from the mid 90s. Spotty vocal performance with some Autotune audible in a few sections, riffs that lead to boredom fast, except for the rather fine extended solo section that's still too similar to Never Neverland and Set the World on Fire. Not horrible, but nothing that Annihilator does nowadays truly stands out anymore.
