Anne Murray's cover was the first version I heard of "Both Sides Now" and it's still my favorite!

I might have liked this version if I had never heard the Judy Collins version. (This is possibly the only song performed by Judy Collins that I like.) Anne Murray's voice in this tune reminded me a little of Kirsty MacColl in "They Don't Know" (1979). ("They Don't Know" is the only song performed by Kirsty MacColl that I like.) https://youtu.be/kIsyQ2qCDQ8 (Tracey Ullman's cover of "They Don't Know" topped it in some ways, plus a great video.)

This is easily on par with Judy Collins' version
I like it better; Judy Collin's voice is too "warbly".
The Judy Collins version of this song seems very different from anything else by Judy. The producers put a lot of arrangement and instruments into it. In this song, Judy's voice had tremolo and/or vibrato that I didn't hear in anything else she recorded. Listening very closely, I got the definite impression that tremolo and/or vibrato were added after the fact, by the recording engineers.
