Animals, The - I'm In Love Again Lyrics

Early in the morning
Sitting here all alone
Waitin' for my baby
To call me on the telephone
I'm in love, I'm in love
Feel good all the time
I said I can't sleep at night
Turning from side to side
The woman that I'm lovin'
She stays on my mind
I'm in love, I'm in love
Feels good all the time
Now let's get it now baby!
Let me tell you baby
I'll tell you what I want to do
I would rob, steal, kill somebody
To get some money for you
Cause I'm in love, I'm in love
Feels good all the time
Now let's get it one more time baby!
Let me tell you baby
Tell you what it's all about
When I see you honey child
You make me wanna jump and shout
I'm in love, I'm in love
Feels good all the time
Early in the morning
Sitting here all alone
Waitin' for my baby
To call me on the telephone
I'm in love, I'm in love
Feels good all the time
I'm in love, I'm in love
Feels good all the time

Love the picture of Brian Jones hanging out with the Animals -- Brian Jones was true blues and rhythm&blues connoiseur and probably great fan of the band. Can imagine him telling Mick and Keith to sound more like the Animals. Brian Jones and Animals (Burdon and Chandler) had a continuing connection through Jimi Hendrix (Chandler brought Jimi to London, set him up with a band, recorded them -- Brian Jones preferred hanging out with Hendrix to the two prima donnas he'd ended up creating). Animals connection to Hendrix continued right up to the end. Hendrix was jamming with Burdon at London club the night he died.

Atomic Lobotomy I thought that was Brian Jones. Sound like you have read the book. If you haven’t then get it. It’s great. I loved it

    A.... L....

Atomic Lobotomy I love those stories. Eric talks about them in his book. If you watch the video Monterey where Eric says Prince Jones moves about the crowd. It’s Brian Jones. He was all dressed up. Wonder how it would have turned out had he lived?

    A.... L....

Atomic Lobotomy why did brian jones have so much more of an open mind and ear?

    A.... L....

Brian Jones had once said Eric Burdon was the greatest lead singer in England --that did not sit well with Jagger --he hated 'The house of The Rising sun "

  13. V.... S....

    a.... ....

    * * * * *

  31. s.... ....

Now I'm wondering if I could post a question about it directly to Eric burdon...maybe on his website..........I wonder if he would know ...I mean..after all these years

spetes1 thats great that your band does this tune........I have the whole rhythm section recorded...but dont know yet if the lead fills will be a clean bluesy tone or a cranked up Marshall tone...........I'm still playing around with it.

  32. s.... ....

@strandwolf They did not record this song. They wrote and recorded (Hey It's Me and) I'm in Love Again. Completely different song. I know they got credit for it on the Animals record, but I think it was a mistake by the record company because of the similar title.

  33. s.... ....

@syn707 I agree. Great song. My group does it also. I've spent hours searching for info about the author of this song. Like you said it is obviously not Fats. I've posted the question on music blogs, but never got an answer.

  34. s.... ....

This is a strange song in that...on the album, the LP, the song credit goes to Fats Domino. I have never found any information that Fats did this song let alone wrote it...The only similarity between this song and one that Fats does is the title
It's a great song and it's one that has remained in my setlists over the years. In fact, I am in the process of recording and will soon post it...I have wondered about this song for years

  35. p.... ....

    Bluesy + gritty

  36. N.... K....

    Thanks so much!!!

  37. s.... ....

This was written by Antoine Domino and Dave Barholomew. They recorded it, too....

  38. D.... E....

The opening is exactly the same as 'Take it easy'. Both are great songs.

  39. M.... G....

da da da da da da da da, im in love. im in love feels good all the time!

  40. M.... F....

    Feel good all the time!!!!

  41. T.... M....

These so-called rock-in-roll oldies rock stations play the same crap hardly play classic greats like these.

  42. c.... ....

Excelent choice from SixtiesMusicLovers user. The Animals were one of the best music band of my generation.
    Congratulation
