They all have great voices, problem with our country is autotune used in every word and every song.The idols of the kids of my generation are Ke$ha, who is constently drunk or Lil Wayne, always smoking, having sex, etc.They don't teach good morals and can't sing for real The text that comes with it is just atrocious(again, teaching bad stuff to the teenagers of our generation).I wish they admired Angus and Julia or Bat for Lashes for example..But you're not alone to think this.

i can appreciate that some people may take issue with her voice but i really think she has a pretty voice. i guess to a degree you could compare her voice with the likes of bjork or diamanda galas. and i'm not comparing the three, i'm just saying that they each have a voice that could be considered an acquired taste!

I don't understand why so many people are complaining about Julia's voice. It's different, it has an edge and it suits the music they produce beautifully. It also compliments Angus' voice .. making the harmonies perfect.

Julia sounds a bit like June Carter to me. They are both good singers. I'd like them a lot more if they didn't sing like they are five year olds. What is it with folk style pop music these days. Is it that they can't compete with RNB and Rap, so they have to sing like babies?
