This album is a real gem. It's dark and diverse, and that's something AVA needed.

cjy876 Tom is a very good musician. But he is not under a big label. Its just his music, the music he wants to write outside the industry, and thats good. Music outside the mentality of making money, outside the business, the producers, the labels, the propaganda. Just Tom, a guy who was famous writing commercial pop punk and now writing the music he wants. Mark hoppus is writing songs for the industry with his new friend and producer Feldmann to sell albums and top the charts, thats the difference. All fake blink fans and trolls insult Tom and Ava. They dont know the essence of a free musician... write the music you want, no more.
Mmm and We have to be sincere... Tom is a really good studio musician, but he cant sing well live like other bands or artists. Im a singer too and I understand him, vocals are really difficult sometimes... you have good days, and really bad days to forget.

Yet another AvA track I wasn't too sure about - but after listening to it, and the rest of The Dream Walker  9-10 times, you really appreciate it and get sucked in, and happy to listen to it a further 500 + times.  Viva AvA - Please please keep up the amazing work Angels And Airwaves.  :) 

the chorus kinda sounds like The Eagles to me lol but this is an amazing album

The verse is just kinda basic stuff, it's acceptable but not that interesting
But the chorus sings and flows so beautifully, it's completely amazing

I thought it was impossible for any Angels track to surpass Mercenaries, but for a couple of days now I rank this as my #1 . Amazing on so many levels. 

This is just great! They finally made an album on which I really like ALL of the songs. Well that is after first quick listening and skipping through, I still need to really get into lyrics, but I'm sure they are great :)

. Tom singing about his wife perhaps. The verses sound like how she may feel about him when he's leaving for a tour, and he won't be around her and hids kids much. He cannot survive when she is not around, so he awaits her again. He can feel her touch when shes not there, he's calling into the nightfall and wind because shes not there. He misses his wife so much when he's on tour, he calls her name into the night. When then the nights "on tour" get rough, he finds her deep inside him when he can't physically have her there. It's basically a love song, in disguise. ...IS FUCKING AMAZING you can feel the yearning in the chorus. "The Disease" is the crazy life style that comes with being famous 

Whenever I go to listen to this album, I'm always drawn to this song in particular. 10/10!

I think this album is awesome. maintains the essence of ava but with a darker and mysterious side .. tremors and tunnels are softer melodies. in conclusion the album is very completo..tom transcended this.

My Favorite song of the album hands down.Amazing harmonizing , something really fresh and trippy. Tremors is my 2nd favorite. There should've been more harmonizing (like in this song) in the album.That said, I like the album as a whole !

My favourite song along with tremors, paralysed, the wolfpack, tunnels...erm damn it just great fuckin album. Tom has done it again. Long live AVA. Also check out Poet Anderson. It's pretty damn good too. 14 mins just isn't long enough and you're left wanting more. Hope there's a follow up!

LUFCBOYS4 i agree its great, but people dont give ilan enough credit for this album. He is the reason some songs turned out the way they did, tom just did vocals and a little bit of bass/synth. Toms a genius but ilan got left in the shadows on this one.

Yes, it sucks that David left.. But AVA doesn't NEED David Kennedy! AVA needs Tom and his vision.I think that with Tom's song-writing abilities and overall vision, combined with Ilan's musical creativity and abilities, that AVA will be a band that last 40+ years making nothing but great music. 

David didnt leave dumbass, go read what tom said "He is still very much pf this project, i just dont think people realize there is more to this than just a band, its a project, he has been working on l\the live experience" 

AVA isn't just a band, it's this big project that LOTS of people work on. Ilan is simply just a band member who recorded TDW. David is still part of the project. He's a live concert performer. 
AVA is movies, books, music, visual art and anything that Tom wants to do. Not just music.
