This is the song I hear when I just woke up from a nap as the sun's fading rays turn my room an amber red. I was so exhausted that I fell asleep with jeans on by accident and now I'm covered in sweat and my mouth is bitter with dehydration. Just like that, I realize a day is gone, and I did nothing. I will do nothing tonight either, not even sleep. So I lay on my old, carpeted floor, all the fibers sticking to my arm, as tinnitus slowly over whelms my hearing and the walls slowly fade into the darkness. Its an eternal numbness, neither benevolent nor malevolent in nature, just existent. This is the sound of that thoughtless, ancient void.
