latin=old italian of 2000 years ago. andrea bocelli is italian then the pronouncing is correctly. :)

I've heard: "correct Latin" is not correct Latin either, but what the Republicans have passed down to them since at least the age of the Kings. In fact, I strongly believe all so-called "languages" are incorrect in that they do not achieve the purity of the original caveman grunts due to mangled transmission since at least the stone age.

Composed by King John IV of Portugal in 1640.

Actually, he's singing in "ecclesiastical Latin". Technically, it's not correct Latin, but it's what the Church has passed down to us since at least the Middle Ages. A Roman would be puzzled by the pronounciation of the Church's c and g in many words.
