I don't care if this is Christian music. I may not be religious but I don't need to be to know what good music is.

This song can be relevant to any religion or belief. I am not religious. I live on a coastal town on the east coast of America. I know this band is christian. But this song relates to me because the girl who ive loved since i was a kid is literally on another coast. The only person that makes me feel less alone on this coast. Now shes on another coast and idk if she knows i exhist anymore. Btw this was our favorite band to lsiten together. We both have kids and significant others who dont care about us. I havent talked tonher in a long time. Anberlin is just relevant to my emotional background. When my motivation goes stale i end up listening to Anberlin and thinking of her everytime and it makes me feel less alone. To me their music is about becoming a better person and finding love. No matter what your belief system is i think its all about love.

I mean its not Christian music by any means, maybe some Christian undertones here and there in some of their songs but I'm pretty sure they stated at one time they didn't want to be known as a christian band. Either way, good music is good music and Anberlin is good music haha. But yes Stephen Christian is a worship leader somewhere down in Florida I believe.

I will not judge you. I have no power to judge others. God is my judge. "Christianity" what is it but a title or name given to those who follow Jesus or the son of God. True Christians are those who follow Jesus, but no one is perfect for all fall short of the glory of God. I make mistakes just as everyone else on earth does, but I have asked forgiveness of my wrongdoing, and God has forgiven me. Now I try my hardest to be a good example for him.

This song is seriously amazing. It's one of my favorite songs of all time and I've had a connection to it since the first time I heard it.

I discovered this tune while searching for Charlie Winston's song of the same name, and I was knocked down by it and purchased it immediately. If anyone knows Anberlin, tell them that they're on the right track and not to give up.

I respect superior musicianship, but judging from the comments here, they have only succeded in attracting the dunce factor.

they are religious yes, but they only care about bringing honest feelings, love, and music to everyone....i'm agnostic but Anberlin has always been very powerful and their messages still resonate to someone who isn't religious.

If you don't know the context, then I suggest you read your Bible [whole books] [not only specific verses]. I also recommend you read in-between the lines of the Bible.

Also note: "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever" (Hebrews 13:8) [note: that's actually a new testament verse]. So if [and since] that's true, we can confer that if God approved of [and he did approve of] David playing his harp (1 Samuel 16), then he will approve of us playing our instruments today because he doesn't change with time.

okay so since your last comment i did some research.... and i asked many different pastors, God gave us Talents and it says Romans 12:6 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith. so yeah if i wanna use my talent to praise God im going to and God gave me the talent to play the drums quite well so im going to tell you God wants me to use it to worship him and bring others to him.

i agree with waveatTCC if you are praising God with your talent he gave you then its okay... but they are a christian band...

@sonicm710 Read Colossians 3:16, Ephesians 5:19, Do you read anywhere in the New Testament about instruments in the worship of the church? We are not talking about the symbolism in Revelation. If God wanted us to use instruments in the worship assembly of the New Testament church he would have instructed us to sing and play. All the references I have found say sing.

@sonicm710 Do you also offer animal sacrifices? If you are going to go into the Old Testament for your authority then you have to do ALL of it. Jesus nailed the old to the cross as Colossians 2:14 states.
