I wish I could see what the angels see (my Grammy is one of them). Seeing and hearing the angels would be amazing. I wish I could hear the angels. There is always hope. Love conquers hate. Truth is easy to believe. I wish I could know what the angels know. We feel the angels within us. I wish I could stand where the angels stand. I want to see how love designed his plan.
The angels have saved me many times from harm, but never show themselves to me, because I am s'posed to believe they exist, which kind of takes the cake ... away, which I want to have and eat too, but they never give me a slice. :-(

I believe Amy included the "If" I could see to keep the song real, and based on truth. If a person wants to see more of God's miraculous wonders, then I say ask God to show you, and help you become aware. You don't get what this song is saying. This is a 'we see through a glass darkly' song, and other depth of life relevancies. I don't think she's talking about miracles and wonders.
