An incredible track from a rather disappointing album. I absolutely adored LE and UTP, but found the album of BFP rather opaque.

It is an incredible track from what I find to be an amazing album. Loved how this progressed from strictly Amos on the piano on Pink & Earthquakes, to a bigger production here. I remember buying it the week it was released. I played it, immediately loved it, and played it over again.
There are 9 tracks that I consider to be very, very good.

Everywhere I look, the lyrics say "Rent your wife and kids today"(3.03). I always thought she was running the words "I ran into your wife and kids today" together, and was wishing that this woman could have "Caught a lite sneeze", as in she was hoping the wife would fall seriously ill, like into a coma (dream a little dream). It definitely sounds like she says "I" beforehand. I don't know, but that was always my take on it. Either way, amazing song.

I first heard her when MTV aired a special about the creation of Boys for Pele and they showed scenes of her singing this song in the old church where she recorded the album and my entire soul melted. Her vocals were like nothing I'd ever heard. Hell I still haven't heard anyone like her.
