Amorphis quit being even remotely heavy over a decade ago, but now they're good in a different way. I used to think Tales From a Thousand Lakes was their last good album but they've come around to make their new style just as good

It's incredible but this band just gets better and better. All the Joutsen era albums are incredible and I'm ready to put Amorphis at the very top together with 80's Maiden as my favorite bands of all time.

Randy FFDP can't hold a candle to Amorphis. FFDP's music is quickly becoming recycled and stereotypical, while Amorphis bases their music on old poetry and has unique sound in every album. Also, Amorphis started their music in 93 or earlier, so i think FFDP is a wannabe Amorphis, yeah?

I swing the flag for Finland, such great metal bands. Amorphis, Insomnium etc. Respect! Now looking forward to Be'lakors new album
