OK... I heard this a while ago, then I saw Amorphis and Anneke perform this live, and then re-watched the video... I find it amazingly powerful but can't put into words, why it has such a strong emotional content... anyone care to explain what it means to them? Why does this song move people to tears?

I just saw them live together (with Anneke) last Wednesday! The performance of this song was a masterpiece.

Just saw this live in Toronto, and I realized I'd listened to it before, but it's growing and growing on me... wow

Why are there so many good Finnish metal/rock groups? Such a small place compared to the volume of great bands. Any Finnish people that could educate me?

Great song but I prefer their older sound, it seems less formula of the girl singer mix. I'm loving that Amorphis guitar still and of course I love Anneke without a doubt, hearing her makes me miss the Gathering. I guess I'm going to have to give this new Amorphis sound a few more listens and see if I can groove with it, it's odd to me to hear this new Amorphis.

Does anyone know why they co-headline with Delain? Also, which one of them is playing first?

Saw the tour last week. All three groups were awesome. Anneke was amazing in her acoustic set and also was on stage with Amorphis for this song (sadly they audio wasn’t balanced properly so you could barely hear her in Worcester)

I've listened to this song several times more or less every week since February. I still get a frisson. It's so profoundly beautiful and it plays on my heartstrings every time. It's up there in my top 10 pieces of music I've ever heard. God bless you Amorphis and God bless Anneke for lending her angelic voice to this masterpiece.

This song is amazing! I have loved Anneke van Giersbergen's voice since she was in 'the Gathering' (Leaves, Nighttime Birds, How to measure a Planet etc.) And of course IMHO 'Amorphis' has never made a bad Album/CD in 20 plus years (from Tales of a Thousand Lakes to Queen of Time and everything in between) Brilliant!
