Amon Amarth - Sorrow Throughtout The Nine Worlds Lyrics
(Balder) Nightmares
Demons haunt my taunted mind
I'm scared
My death's forseen ungloryful
Plase Father
Please Mother
Death is everywhere
(Odin) My son I've seen your fear
I have felt your pain
No harm will come to you
An oath has been sworn
(Balder) The evil forces around us
Still wants to destroy me
I cannot see
Loke the deceitful God
Discover the arrow of death
Pointed for the Hoder the blind
by the jealous Loke
The arrow cut through the skin
And into the heart of the bright one
Silence spread throughout the hall Aesir
As the God of Light fe to his knees dying!
Sorrow throughout the nine worlds
The bright God is gone
Sent to Nifelheim by the deceitful...

Amon Amarth Sorrow Throughtout The Nine Worlds Comments
Is this their first EP? their first songs? In the description we see that the songs ostensively are in the versus the world album but theres not. Do you guys know more about this? bcs in internet i find nothing about that.
Better than recents but don't think it can beat some of the early 2000s stuff
nothing special but its maon
1:15 Fantastic riff
Anyone answer this? I heard a song, sounded exactly like johan hegg had a very melodic intro, sounded like was recorded in a garage. Great song so trying to find it. Thought it might have been a demo from early. 0s but unable to find it.. Worth asking
Nah, the sound quality is just not right on these old once, it all sounds like a bunch of noise to me.
and this is what sounds really cool. its that what makes a really cool old school touch and this what we hear also in other music genres. i like it :)
Obviously never listened to much pre-2000s metal then
F u f the ads
This is the real amon amarth, i think this is their best work, all sounds amazing!! I dont know why they dont play this songs, especiallly under the greyclouded winter sky
I honestly think this is their best release, though I love all of theirs.
I guess it's because this one is way more black influenced haha, but the riffs in here are CRIMINALLY good.
One of my favorite albuns of all time SO FAR
Still have this incredible EP from them. Amazing melodies, such a powerfull EP. Favorite part: 11:40. And Absolute favorite track is "The Mighty Doors of the Speargod's Hall". Amazing guitar work. But again the whole EP is amazing.
Black metal influence!? that's stupid... Amon Amarth was Thrash Metal and have personally stated to be Death Metal. Today they are The Melodic Death Metal Band. Fate of the Norms to Jomsviking is the timeline of real development and success. I enjoy crusher and Avenger but Twilight of The Thunder God, Fate of the Norns, and With Oden on Our Side hands down are the greatest melodic death metal albums of my personal collection. Crusher's heavy crashing sounds and crashing feel "crushes" my heart every time. Amon Amarth certainly is my favorite band.
all that said I love this album along with avenger. Raw or polished they tell a good tale and deliver the Metal fix I need.
Ruthlessness in musical form
Hail Odin!!
This bears some similarities to second wave blackmetal (in sound and melodies). People who are baffled by the fact, that it sounds better than AA's later work, might find this information useful.
BlackMetalThrone or they like death metal more than black metal. Who knows
Truly awesome piece.
I fell in love with this sound, its great to see its birth
Is this still Johan singing? I know there was an earlier singer.
Maybe earlier...at the recording of the EP Jonah already joined the band, or at least that's what each wiki-stuff say
the previous singer was Paul Mäkitalo, but he only sang in the band Scum. Scum broke up back in 1991.Johan Hegg convinced the former members to reform, and Amon Amarth formed in 1992.
Samuel Lindström and to all.... Paul went on after Scum to front/ record with another guitarist from the Swedish scene named David parland aka BLACKMOON which they formed Dark Funeral!!!!!
Wonderful EP, early AA definitely has black metal influence, especially tremolo picking and frequent usage of scream. I kinda miss it in their modern albums
I know right? No one talks about their early black metal influences.
I need to show this ep and their demos to my black metal cousin
Clearly very influenced by bands like Dissection, but also a lot of Dismember and the whole slightly more melodic Swedish death metal.
ONE OF MY FAVOURITE BANDS ! THIS EP IS AMAZING !
Masterpiece!
Pure gold.
Oh the Bass sounds amazing in this album!
This ep is a masterpiece
What's wrong with this underrated masterpiece compared to their most recent albums? Too raw? Too brutal? And yet this is one of the best ep ever. The rating on RYM is totally unacceptable (and somewhere else).
Fitting as Amon Amarth is supposedly the Sindarin ( some kind of elvish ) name of Mount Doom
has anyone ever heard gojiras demos the band was named GODZILLA before gojira.... anyways albums called saturate fucking RIPSSSS
There's nothing wrong with this song. After listening to all of Amon Amarth, this is my favorite.
Today Amon Amarth is surely very known in the metal music scene, but nonetheless underrated :D
RYM? What is that?
So beautiful! Does anyone know what's the guitar tuning? I'm not sure if it's B standard, like in their following albums. There's a tab for "The arrival of the Fimbul winter" where the tuning is C standard, I'm trying to write the tab for "Sorrow throughout the nine worlds" and C tuning seems to fit with the melodies, maybe it's C# because it seems to be the lowest chord. Thanks.
it is С
masterpiece!!!!
from the begining to the end just a punch in the face
The mighty doors... really takes you on a ride for your life !!
Old amon are the great
the last track is pure awesomeness :D
Amon Amarth is the real thing!
can you be so kind to upload Diabolis Interium by Dark Funeral ?? And also check it out its one fucking hell of an album.

gawd, this so awesome, it gives me goosebumps....listened to the whole thing like 8 times already.
i started to listen their last albums and every time i'm going back to older ones i get a boner.
thank you.
They should re-record this great EP, as they're more accomplished musicians these days.
Not the only :) Old Amon Amarth is the best :)
