Fucking good music!

I remember reading the lyrics and seeing that "too late, I'm a dead man" was the closing line of the song and thinking that it must be so hard hitting. If Joel really wanted a hard hitting ending, he could have said that line himself and just have the song cut off. Damn, that would be dark.

DJ Spuddzz That would've been sick. I still love this ending though. They could have kept this ending but had like a 5 or 6 sec pause after he said it or something. 👍🏼

I would fucking kill to hear more betrayal themed songs by Amity. Snitches Get Stitches and this are fucking insanely good. They make Severed Ties alone a great album.

Sick song

This will always be my favorite song by my favorite band. My friend Dan told me about this band when severed ties first came out, not many people had heard of it considering I live in Tennessee, in the states. Dan passed away in a car wreck about a half a year later, we were 19. I feel like he's right with me every time I listen to this song. Thank you Amity. I love you all forever. Rip brother.

Not to bring about bad memories, but "RIP Foghorn" is a tribute to a friend of the band that died in a car accident.

Just thought that might bring about some slight comfort knowing that your favorite band knows how it feels, too.

+Oh MrPib yeah man it definitely does. I think I read somewhere they were called left lane ends before he passed but changed it to the amity affliction after or something. Either way, thank you for taking the time to say that. There is no happiness in death I think but there is comfort. Every song amity puts out I relate too and has a special place in my heart, but this album does especially. The sound of it is just phenomenal. But thank you for that. Anytime anybody young is lost, its always tragic and painful but I find comfort within these songs.

Its amazing to hear the amity affliction back then and now. Gosh they have improved such a great band i love them so much

I personally think they improved in the wrong direction, this and young bloods were pretty different to other stuff around at the time from what I found, now the last two sound the same, just like blessthefalls last few albums :(

Definitely gone downhill from this album onward. Cleans got worse, Screams got less, Rhythm got less, lead guitar slowly disappeared, drums slowed and quieted. They'll never compare to how good they *used* to be.
