I lived in London, UK at the time ‘Because I Love It’ was released, not sure why the US never got it. It’s actually a very good album, ‘Hate To Love You’ is a Rich Harrison production too.

She did the same with Lady Gaga. She was doing regular videos before Gaga came with her strange eccentric, then she started doing weird videos like Gaga. Beyonce stole Shakira's dance moves and turned one of them into the "uh oh dance". Now she's taking Rihanna's over-sexualize bad girl attitude on her new album. Listen don't get me wrong I'm Beyonce fan. Bey is very talented when it comes to singing and dancing, but she is not original.

The Love and War album was a great project, it was good to hear her work with more new producers, but Amerie needs Rich, like Aaliyah needed Timbaland. They need to create another masterpiece from start to finish. One thing about the music industry, it will turn best friends into foes. I just hope they both leave whatever business in the past and reunite and bring something new to the game again.

From someone i know who works in the industry, Beyonce dad Matthew Knowles paid Amerie's go to producer Rich Harrison a lot of money to get her signature sound. Rich was the guy who molded and developed Amerie sound. Nobody else had that sound around the time Amerie first album dropped. Amerie gave the industry something new around 2002/03, Matthew saw it as a threat so that's what happened. Rich started producing for Beyonce. Money talks. Industry politics.

And that's why Bey's sound/artistic style is not consistent from album to album. She's always hopping on the new trend and seemingly changing identities. Something is just very inauthentic about how she does it. Great performer tho.

Yes you are correct and the producer name is Rich Harrison. He produced Beyonce's single Crazy in Love and Amerie's first two albums, All I Have and Touch. He's one of my fav producers.
