America - Tin Man Lyrics
Sometimes late when things are real
And people share the gift of gab between themselves
Some are quick to take the bait
And catch the perfect prize that waits among the shelves
That he didn't, didn't already have
And Cause never was the reason for the evening
Or the tropic of Sir Galahad.
So please believe in me
When I say I'm spinning round, round, round, round
Smoke glass stain bright color
Image going down, down, down, down
Soapsuds green like bubbles
That he didn't, didn't already have
And Cause never was the reason for the evening
Or the tropic of Sir Galahad
So please believe in me
When I say I'm spinning round, round, round, round
Smoke glass stain bright color
Image going down, down, down, down
Soapsuds green like bubbles
No, Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man
That he didn't, didn't already have
And Cause never was the reason for the evening
Or the tropic of Sir Galahad
So please believe in me

Linda música
I remember this song my Dad used to play this in his Volkswagen Van with a 8 track player when we drive up the coast
Memory, Sister standing front of her dresser mirror. I asked her if it could put her album, America, on the lp. Sure! whatever she said. I set it up. put the needle on the edge just right, remember? scratchy sounds came on, silence, then it started. Louder! she yelled out. I turned it up. She swayed to the music in front of her mirror, How strange I thought as my foot tapped along to the beat. Again!
better band from 70's so enjoy forget race color
it's 2019 amirite?!?!?!?!?! C u in 2020?!?!?!
I’ve seen comments on this video from blacks saying that they like this song regardless if it’s sung by whites.. ? I don’t understand that is there something about this song that implies it’s only for white or are they referring to that antiquated expectation that if you’re black, latin, asian, etc. then you should only listen to music from that group? Both are still fucking retarded but I’m curious cause it’s 2019 and the comments aren’t that far back.. lol

You have some people out here who do not listen to all genres of music. They are on one track, and that is black, white, Latin, Asian, etc. You know people are prejudice, and it doesn't matter that 2020 is around the corner. They are missing out on some good stuff. Some people still have to hide or be ostracized for listening to what they like. I love Queen, and some of my family members wonder why l listen to that mess. That is what they call it, but l don't care. I pump up the volume, and jam. I am not going to miss out!
2,600 people didn't spin round, round round, round
Tengo 56 años y nunca me canso de escucharla, simplemente revivir buenos momentos
Dewey Bennell - exceptionally excellent and special condition of Bun. ... both hidden, quieted ... even saved
Like the Wizard also said to the Tin Man :
"...and remember my sentimental friend : a heart is NOT judged by how much you love, but on how much you are loved by others." :)

Greatest Song with America, Along with Horse with no name
America is a grossly underrated band.
This song, is a part of my life, when I went to Ireland, in 1973, when my Dad died, and my grandmother, would sing me to sleep, in her irish voice, sing song. And it was the first year that Sligo beat Galway, at futbol....and I was at the game. And no one, believed I was an american! 1973. The most hilarious part, was that I was a hormonal teen--who would call home to New York, from the corner pay phone in the middle of no-where, to my Mom, asking to go home. She knew exactly what she was doing, and just hung up the phone! Sometimes, being stuck, is a blessing.
And lyrics?
December 2019?

2020 Who's listening to the song wondering why there's so many years mentioned in comments?
TIN MAN this is perfect song et others favorites songs
These guys played at my elementary school in 71 or 72, they were just taking off and one of their relatives went to the school. I liked their music, saw their set and didn't really pay attention. I also saw Roy Orbison play at a Holiday Inn in Mass because he knew the house act and they were friends. Things happen and we don't always recognize it at the time.
this is one of my favorite America songs, but I have to wonder what drugs they were on when they wrote the lyrics.;-)
I was 16 back then miss those days😢
