Ok look people! Who cares about your facination with Gerry Beckley. Gerry is not real good on his own. But when he's with his band AMERICA, he is the best there ever was. Yes, his voice has got a lot higher over the years, but he can still stump most others on that guitar. AND his songs are still superior to what we got today. Look at all their albums. Every single album has songs on it written by Dewey or Gerry that would have been hits! Only if the music industry had their heads out of their asses. That's it! I've got no explanation as to the reason for NOTHING for 30 years or so. IT's actually offensive to me. Everyone do me a favor. Just listen to their songs. (their ALBUM songs, not the hits.) Then tell me what happened! Someone tell me. I get NOTHING from the band, or their Manager Jim Morey. They just act like everything is just "rosie collered glasses" - but there is an explanation as to this nonsense. Give me a reason for this. IT's just stupid as far as im concerned and for all these years I can't get a reason for it all.
