gawd!!!! what a terrific piece of harmony. amazing, I say. this sort of harmony is not usually my cup of tea, but I find this to be incredible.

SOMEONE DO AN EMPTY ARENA VERSION OF THIS

Once someone did come and pick me up from the blue haze I was in. I lived in the haze because I had lost all of my friends, I had no one to talk to, and my family relations were... rough to say the least. He came and told me that what happened to me wasn't my fault, and he got me to smile again. Then, after I fell for him, he changed. He became the source of my haze rather than my savior from it. He started to demand things from me I couldn't give. Started to tell me that he didn't think I was a good person. He told me that he was going to die if he continued being around me, but threatened to kill himself if I left him alone. I see now that he was in a haze of his own. I so desperately wanted to save him, but in the end, the harder I tried the deeper we both sunk. He became dangerous to himself and the people around him, to the point that I feared for my life around him. Beyond that, I feared for my life from myself, as I had turned into something less than human, less than fully alive. I cut him out of my life.

Several days after I stopped talking to him, he sent me a text on a number I didn't have blocked. It was his suicide note. I immediately told his parents and teachers, and he's still breathing. Still, I wonder if I did the right thing or not. Was it right for me to leave him? Am I still in danger from him? I hear he still misses me.

Today, I'm happy enough. I still am lacking in friends, but it's not so bad. I feel like I've woken up from a hundred years of sleep, but I woke up tired. Maybe he at least helped me wake up. I'm hoping something good came from that mess. I feel like a part of my personality is gone, but who knows. I think I'm holding myself back from other people again. There's someone close to me who I'd like to be more than a friend to, but I don't think I can be, and to be honest, I'm not sure why I can't or shouldn't. I don't know whether I'm worried about hurting someone or getting hurt anymore. I'm not entirely sure why I wrote this either. I don't expect anyone to read it. Ah, well. Maybe someone can get some peace from my ramblings, even if that someone is only me. Who knows.

That's what I was thinking at first but normally the volume levels of the vocoder don't normally stay perfectly along the source vocal so I'm not so sure it was.

Not long ago a childhood friend of mine committed suicide. Sometimes I felt the only thing able to drag me back to reality, back from the whirling cesspool that was my heart, was music. I've listened to this song too many times to count. Whenever I couldn't stop crying thinking of him, I'd listen to this and let the lyrics wash over me instead of the constant screamed 'why' inside my head. Sometimes there just aren't answers. All I know is that I'll always remember him, his smile, his curly hair poking out from underneath a ball cap, his sarcastic, dry humor, and the way we ran together in the trees, pretending to be soldiers when we were kids. His name was Aaron. I'd give anything in the world to have him back, and to give him my happiness, but that's simply not possible. All I can do now is let time layer over the scar and leave songs like this for the worst days. If you can, share your joy of life with someone. You never know who might need it.

how to love?

This song is so moving, makes you feel sort of hollow yet deeply sad at the same time. The songs ending feels so unfinished it leaves you waiting for more, yet i like how there's no concrete conclusion. I read the description after I'd already listened to the song a few times and it is so fitting. Just Perfect.
