The line that made me fall in love with this song. Shows how hard it is to sleep, even with tired bones, with the load on our backs. This just exemplifies every night I’ve ever lied awake long into the night knowing that I wouldn’t be able to sleep because of the yelling, because of my racing brain with all the what ifs. It’s hard. Staying alive is hard, man. Sleeping when you know that the next day will only hurt you more is harder though. Death is hard. Living is harder. Just don’t give up before 5am. You’ll see the light before you know it, friends.

This is my favorite song by Amber Run and I have no idea why. I can't relate to it, I've never even tried drugs much less had an addiction but it touches me more than any other. I never get tired of it.

We've all been there. That space of blurred here and there. With that backpack of reality...this song makes me smile and cry

This song has always hit me the hardest out of any song... Between depression, anxiety, loneliness never finding a true relationship and being 28 all of it combined pushed me away from the gym and my friends and sent me into a binge of alcohol the past 2 months straight at home ... And it pushed me to where I literally broke and went in to detox feeling judged and I just got out of detox literally today... With a clear head and realizing it'll be hard but this song will just hit me hard back in the gym now ..

I've been recovering from a cocaine addiction for about two years now. This song really hits hard, because it perfectly describes my darkest nights..
