Myles went to high school with Jason Hansen, the former NFL kicker. This song was released late in August, just as drafts for fantasy football were peaking. I love this song, BTW. It blows me away. But the lyrics are so perfectly suited for the kickoff of fantasy football season that I have to ask: Myles, was the timing intentional? Do you play FFB? I run a darn good league. I don't think anything will beat One Day Remains. Why is it that most band's first album is usually almost always the best one and then they change their style afterwards?

They changed their style because they felt One Day Remains had a Creedy sound that drew Creed fans to it but they weren't Creed 2.0... They wanted to make AB their own thing

I love the song and it's texture, but the chorus is a bit too positive imo, it takes away that thickness from the intro and the verse. A bit like the songs from The Last Hero, they also got amazing verses and intros - I hope to hear some Fortress/ABIII choruses in the upcoming songs :D

Hey everyone !!!!!! listen to Miles Kennedy's first band Mayfield Four and you will here Ian Thornley on his second album . The album is called second skin and it rocks!!!!!

From what I've heard so far, this album isn't anything special. All the songs are monotonous and generic. Listen to songs like Burn It Down or Brand New Start and then listen to this.....it is like a totally different band and not for the better.

Can someone help me. I have tickets for the walk the sky tour in December( Birmingham) and how will the thing work with the other groups their with or whatever. Is it like the others will do they're acts first then alter bridge comes on to do the mains show? Or are they all together like 'taking turns'. Sorry I dont know much i just really loved Myles I saw slash live earlier this year with him, and then I was on alter bridge spotify and I played wouldnt you rather (obv I had already heard blackbird and words darker then their wings at the royal Albert hall thing) and now I'm in love with pay no mind I think Gatsby what it's called. I’m finally glad to hear the mix isn’t holding back the heavy crunch during transitions from lighter to heavier riffs. One of my biggest complaints for a lot of their songs is that the levels don’t change; you expect a punch and it’s more like a push. This sounds much better and I’m very happy.

So far this is my favourite song of the three singles. It's melodic, harmonies on point like always, and I love the message in it. And I love how the guitars fade out in the end. Every element just works perfectly in this song!!
