This is my favorite song on the album. I like the hopelessness of the song. It's real love and real life and I've experienced that kind of feeling where you just want to give up on someone because you know they won't change, but you want them to work for your love and you'll "leave the light on if you wanna come home." That's the line to sum it up: I need you and want you, but you don't treat me right and despite all that, i'll leave the light on if you want to come home.

haha i love how nathans incluence is tottally in this song... even like how the kids kinda sound like the kids from "kids" MGMT... which is a band that nathan LOVES..
and if im being totally honest, i kinda knew that nathan was going to leave. i LOVE a-dub, but the other boys are just sooo different thatn nathan, whos a hipster for crying out loud!!! i love nathan and asw but im actually kinda happy that he left

@13kassandraa Actually, you're wrong... Nathan is clearly on the album still. He sings the bridge in this song. They weren't going to go re-record everything 2 weeks ago when all the CDs were made and ready to go.

@MarissaAshleyy Actually, wrong. They went back to re-record all the songs without Nathan. So the versions that are on the album, don't have nathan on them. He's not a part of the band anymore.
