Allman Brothers Band, The - Seven Turns Lyrics

Seven turns on the highway,
Seven rivers to cross.
Sometimes, you feel like you could fly away,
Sometimes, you get lost.

And sometimes, in the darkened night,
You see the crossroad sign.
One way is the mornin light,
You got to make up your mind.

Somebody's callin your name.
Somebody's waiting for you.
Love is all that remains the same,
That's what it's all comin to.
Hey, yeah.

Runnin wild out on the road,
Just like a leaf on the wind.
How in the world could you ever know,
We'd ever meet again?

Seven turns on the highway,
Seven rivers to cross.
Sometimes, you feel like you could fly away,
Sometimes, you get lost.

Somebody's callin your name.
Somebody's waitin for you.
Love is all that remains the same,
That's what it's all comin to.

Somebody's callin your name.
Somebody's waitin for you.
Love is all that remains the same,
That's what it's all comin to.

Somebody's callin your name.
Somebody's waitin for you.
Somebody's callin your name.
That's what it's all coming to.

  29. Costas Giotakis

    MASTERPIECE!

  30. Monsieur Renard

The Allmans never were a singles-band, and apart from Jessica and Ramblin' Man most of their singles were not their best songs.

I never knew they released singles in the 90's. This video is a typical 90's mtv-countryrock video, and so is the song.

The band can do so much better, but at least the vocals are very good and Haynes' slideguitar is excellent!

  31. Randall Polk

DUANE STARTED THE BAND AND INVENTED SLIDE

  34. Costas Giotakis

    This is real music!

  35. Kellie Hilton

THe first time I heard this all the way through, it made me look in the mirror and see who was looking back. Now that I'm 59, there are a whole lot of lifes measures all over now. The scars carry the tune of many a night when I just couldn't get through to the morning. Music is an outlet of pure inner dimensions that permit every ounce of passion in whatever form, to breath down into your soul. I love how all of the technical shit is where I can play the music as loud as I want with no problem. If I'm going to go deaf, this is the way to go. I "feel" the notes and directions, the soaring of a good chorus and verse. We must keep the music alive,

  36. Craig McCauley

    Love this song!

  37. John Patillo

    Siete vueltas en la carretera
    Siete ríos para cruzar
A veces sientes que puedes volar
    A veces te pierdes.

    Instrumental.

    Corriendo salvaje en la carretera,
Como una hoja en el viento.
Cómo en el mundo podría usted saber,
    Nos volvemos a encontrar?

    Siete vueltas en la carretera
    Siete ríos para cruzar
A veces sientes que puedes volar
    A veces te pierdes.

    Alguien está llamando tu nombre
    Alguien te está esperando
El amor es todo lo que permanece igual.
Eso es todo lo que viene. x 3.
