Allman Brothers Band, The - Crazy Love Lyrics
Somewhere down on a back street
Way down deep in the back seat
Where I first learned how to moan your name,
I remember the night I met ya
Cant stop thinkin bout your crazy love
Crazy love
Crazy love
I love you mama
But youre too bad to change
Crazy love
Crazy love
I love you mama
Im laid up here lookin at my shoes
Stuck here with these hotel blues
I wish youd only just call me on the phone
Aint no doubt and I dont mean maybe
Whoo! i just cant forget about you baby
Cant stop thinkin bout your crazy love
Crazy love
Crazy love
I love you mama
But youre too bad to change

#29, 1979.
we got jipped when Duane died.
this song went to #29 on the pop charts in 1979!!!
This song was in the US Top 40 at the same time as a different song by Poco with this same title.
This song sounds like "Birdland".

entered Billboard March 17, 1979 .. reached #29
I always thought this was a solo project from Dicky Betts????
This is a really well written song
Yep this is dickey Betts. He wrote and soloed
My favorite slow song is dreams, but both songs are in my top ten
#1 is one way street by Aerosmith
Bonnie!
of course
I picked up this album at a sale 1$, best dollar I ever spent
I THINK THE ONE I GOT WAS WAPED, BUT I REALLY LIKE THIS SONG/ ALBUM;)
go get em dickie
I remember buying this LP back in the day. I thought it was great. Everyone else seemed to think it pase'. Bull shit!
Great tune and great album. This one I think is pretty underrated in the ABB catalog, you have this tune, Just Ain't Easy and BB King cover, Blind Love among others.
How can one dislike this?! This is a true gem, co written by Don Johnson...
'there aint no doubt
and i dont mean maybe
ooooh
i just caint stop thinkin'

The Allman Brothers Band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995
yea buddy , true allman's , thanks for posting
The Allmans hit #29 in Billboard, 5-5-79. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx!
this song is in my top 10!
@VanDoodah OK. I've never seen Toler play slide. When he's in Dickey''s solo band, Dickey always plays slide, so I doubt Toler plays slide.
@boblackey1 I meant the guitar solo. I was wondering if it was Betts or Toler playing it. Cheers for clearing it up for me.
@VanDoodah ?? You mean is this from a Dickey Betts solo album? Dickey is playing the slide guitars solos and singing lead,, this is the first track on the 1979 Allman Brothers Band album "Enlightened Rouges" That is a nickname Duane Allman gave the ABB. Bonnie Branblet is a guest on this album singing backup on this song. The line up for this album was: Gregg Allman: vocals, keyboards. Dickey: vocals, guitars, Dan Toler: guitars, David Goldflies: bass, Butch Trucks and Jaimoe: drums.
Is this a Dickey Betts solo?
That's cocaine.
'That's for the ride down memory lane with my once "crazy love".
love this fu**in song hellz yah
thats Bonnie Bramlet singing backup vocals
I love you mama but you're too bad to change.
Tell me about it. Mom's in prison - again.
was good to hear this track again!
I love this song!
THANKS.
It is the best on this album!
One of their best! Thanks for posting it.
