let me start by saying, both of these guys are WAY better guitar players than I am... having said that... this song feels... hmm... "clinical"... like there's a bunch of technical skill here, but no visceral emotion... it doesn't make me want to headbang, it doesn't make me want to mosh... it makes me want to take notes like I'm reading a textbook... maybe I'm outing myself as the old man in the room, but for me metal is supposed to have an emotional effect that I just didn't get here...

It's nice to see Adam neely finally saw the light and switched to an 8 string.

Besides their amazing and creative playing, i like the fact that they play 8 string guitars and do not dwell on low notes. They play what the music ask for.

Had one built last year, and man is it a beast. It's the nicest guitar I've ever owned build quality wise, and the thing doesn't go out of tune, it's such a stable guitar. Shipped from sunny California to New England in February where it was below zero at the time, unboxed it, to my amazement it was in perfect tune. Amazing guitars.

god i miss the days of pentatonic blues scales in metal solos, just pure feeling. this is kinda souless sounding...all technical with the prerequisite drum machine sounding triggered type writer drums and guitar lesson scale runs. oh Look i can tap, look i can sweep, arpeggios arpeggios...man who gives a fuck, 3 million godamn metal bands doing this same shit over and over. Boring ass riffs underneath sounds like a two year old wrote em.
This is what passes for metal now...fucking sad. Not a lick of innovation or originality in this tune...sounds like a hundred others.

Love the guitar playing, but I'm not into the vocals.  A Warrel Dane style singer would really work over this complicated riffage.  That said, I've always admired the guitar playing in this band.
