The song, from what I've heard is written from the perspective of his mother. It is about his father's struggle with alcoholism. If you get a chance to see them play this live, take it. I saw them play a few years back and this song almost made me cry. Nathan is insanely emotional during the song.. especially from about the 3:30 mark on...

like 2 hours ago i saw this live. the way he sings it live is so in your face, he screams away from the mic, and then he sings so gently it demands every single persons attention. after the song was over, everyone clapped and wouldnt stop. everyone was fucking moved and it was so obvious and beautiful. it actually changed my perspective on music and i play in a complete deathcore band. we are supposed to be stubborn. thanks to my girlfriend for bringing me, i love her more for this night.

they played this last night. My eyes watered.

@sarashayne I saw them last night at the concert and the crowd was way different they played this song and near the end he sang without the mic and band the crowd was dead silent. It was an awwwwing moment.

They played this last night. Nothing is more rude than talking through some band's set, which is what most of the crowed did.

I enjoyed this immensely and I have crazy respect for All Get Out for having the balls to play this live. Most wouldn't.
