When mainstream music of all genres had meaning and were awesome. I mean, after 2003 ended and when 2004 began, mainstream music went awful. I'm 31 now but I grew up with retro mainstream music of all genres from January 1, 1970 to December 31, 2003 during my younger days, fellow YouTubers. The shitty mainstream music from January 1, 2004 to the present is crap IMHO.

Eternal did it better.

The 1990s really was the best decade for Disney in general. This is just so heartfelt, you don’t get this kind of charm and magic in contemporary Disney.

Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed Moana, Frozen, Tangled, and Big Hero 6. But it just isn’t heartfelt like this.

Literally, from Beauty and the Beast (1991)-Tarzan (1999), Disney was at its best. The music was definitely the absolute best. Love the end credits songs they chose from artists like Jon Secada, Shanice, Peabo Bryson, Celine Dion, All 4 One, Phill Collins, etc.

Little wonder Disney swept the Best Song category at the Oscars throughout the '90s.

In the Uk Disney got Girl group Eternal to sing this, it was a bit hit. Never heard this version - strange to hear male vocals after all these years of knowing the Eternal Version! I like this version but I think most people prefer versions of songs they are more familiar with ❤️

I was fortunate to meet All-4-One in Tokyo in 2016. I went to visit my dearest friend Eudy Mabuza and she had kept it a secret that she'd booked tickets to their concert. It was a beautiful surprise. We got to meet and chat with them afterwards and I got a hug from each one of them when they had that I cried during the concert. It was a beautiful concert. I'll always cherish that memory. Bless my friend Eudy! Bless All-4-One!
