I'm so ecstatic I heard the little blip add on alkaline trio radio this morning. I literally clicked my alkaline trio station on Pandora cause that's the mood I was feeling then to my suprise... this holy fuck this so amazing

Hearing this album is just another reminder for me of how completely wasted Matt was on Blink-182's album California...

I would argue that that is the fault of John Feldmann producing, who convinced the band to play it safe and fullfill their stereotypes (including bringing back the toilet humor) instead of really going for a good album

@Pedro Freire I always thought it should have stayed "Nausea" instead of "Olivia," since the song does such a great job of describing alcoholism, and using a girl's name to replace nausea is pretty petty in my opinion. Great song minus the change in words in my opinion.

Oh Yeah I don’t think I have, just because they’ve been around longer doesn’t mean they can’t borrow vibes from newer bands. Bayside have a pretty unique sound imo.

Yea...there's a lot of trio in Bayside...but theyve stayed a solid band....until this album they were out doing alk3 with probably every album since crimson...

For sure, and they have a new record out around the same time, maybe a month apart? Also check out Dan and Anthony, they did a few tracks live that are around here somewhere, one is "If you had a bad time". Didn't realize until recently after being a huge fan of both bands for 10 years now that they are friends. Let's hope for a big joint record soon.
