I had no idea anyone else had ever recorded this song besides Dan. This is pretty, nice interpretation but not nearly as good as Dan's....but I am biased :)

Rest in peace, Dan Fogelberg.  You were one of the greatest song writers of your time.  Good job, AKUS!

Pure and simple, her voice is a gift from God to us all.

Wow!  Very nice.  I just love Alison's voice.  Dan's original version is still better, but this is pretty darn good!

i have to disagree...Folgerbergs ORIGINAL Version is MUSICLY Confusing with its Drums uneddedly adding speed to a tune that should be SIMPLE...as Allison Krous and UNIION Station KEEP it simple with MINIMLe DRUM Track and voice tracks NOT to mention that Dan Folgberg in HIS ORIGINAL version sounds like Sean Connery with a higher pitched voice trying to sing a song about LOST LOVE....in the end Alison Krous's Voice ADDS the inoccent but seductive quality voicing that this TUNE is in NEED of...and NOT a Male Nasal sounding voice...I will always say that Allison Krouse and Union station took a good TUNE and KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK while John Fogety just got a Single or maybe a DOUBLE at most with his version...

You're entitled to your opinion... as I said, it's a personal preference. BTW, it's Dan Fogelberg, not John Fogerty of CCR.

delightful. Dan's original will always be my favorite, but Alison does a wonderful job here. She is so sensitive in the way she records other people's songs. What a tremendous talent.

having not heard the Dan Fogelberg version, until today, all I can say is god gave this young lady a gift. Try not to get too successful it will ruin you.
