I adore Allison and no one has such a sweet voice! She is the best. I will say that when I was young, I had a Robert Plant poster on my wall! Led Zeppelin was my favorite band. I graduated in '86. This album is pure genius! And Robert still has it. This may be the best he ever did!

I've listened to a few tracks on this album now and I can't believe how bad the percussion is. It's as if the drummer / percussionist just couldn't be bothered or couldn't work out what each track needed. It's so 'lumpy' and neanderthal.

They dishonor Townes Van Zandt with this,  I am a fan of RP, AK and TVZ...but some things you just don't fuck with, and this TVZ mean and dark masterpiece is one of them. It sounds horrible.

Townes wrote that at the age of 27. What at gift. Plant recorded this one at the age of 60 or something. He should have done it the Cash way on American Recordings, I mean, the pure shit, not this cowboy-style, jesus christ ...

the song stands on it's own as a masterpiece. yet I wonder how it would sound with Jimmy Page contributing. This is now my favourite "Solo" work by Robert Plant. I am in awe!

I was honestly drunk and a little high on E back in 2010 the first time I heard this. it really hit me that night. here I am years later remember how good it is.
